October Election Positions

Business Manager

5 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Monitors and conducts all the business meetings. Handles specific member complaints, manages all other trusted servants. Works with landlord as the group representative.

Asst. Business Mgr.

4 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Assists the Business Manager in their duties and assumes the responsibilities as the Business Manager for the business meeting in their absence.

Secretary Coordinator

2 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Makes sure all secretaries have entry to fellowship and are aware of their duties. Holds and annual secretary workshop.

Grapevine Rep.

1 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Familiarize group members with the Fellowships international journal, the AA Grapevine and the enhancements it offers to our sobriety. Is responsible for receiving quarterly mailings.

Literature Rep.

1 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Replenishes AA literature. Makes reports to monthly business meeting and submits all receipts for purchases to the Treasurer.

Purchaser

2 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Takes inventories of supplies and replenishes missing items. Submits all receipts for purchases to the Treasurer

Recording Secretary

2 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Takes detailed notes of the business meetings and prepares a detailed report for the next meeting. The “Minutes” of the previous business meeting should be made available for everyone attending.

General Service Rep.

2 year sobriety required, 2 year commitment

Carries our group conscience to the monthly District 08 meeting, Area meetings, Unity Days. Makes reports to monthly business meetings. Presents agenda topics to the group for groups’ conscience.

Alternate GSR

2 year sobriety required, 2 year commitment

Assists the GSR in their duties and assumes the responsibilities as the GSR for the business meeting in their absence.

H&I Representative

2 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Represents our meeting at the monthly H & I business meeting. Reports on their activities at the business meeting. Announces availability of H & I commitments. Responsible for disbursement of H & I monies collected. Prepares a monthly report on monies received and how they were distributed. Fields any questions brought up at Business meeting and reports back to the monthly H&I meeting.

Zoom Secretary Coordinator

2 year sobriety required, 1 year commitment

Makes sure all secretaries have updated script, Zoom host access, are aware of their duties and Zoom security controls. Holds secretary workshop as needed. Coordinates any Zoom Marathon Meetings. *NOTE: this description has not yet been approved by group.
